Passionate supporters of the actress are demanding that a individual who breached a fence and seized the performer during Thursday's Wicked: For Good premiere be detained or expelled from Singapore.

A widely shared clip depicts the Australian man bypassing photographers and charging at Grande while the performers made its way down a event pathway surrounded by onlookers.

Fellow actress Cynthia Erivo promptly guided the surprised actress away from Mr Wen, who was seen being led away of the event by event staff.

Mr Wen stated on Instagram late on Thursday that he was "let go after being arrested", though court documents revealed that he was due to be present on the next day. It is uncertain if he was faced legal action.

Pattern of Disruptions

This is part of a pattern for Mr Wen, who describes himself as a "Controversial Figure", has invaded a celebrity gathering. His Instagram profile includes recordings of him disturbing other celebrity events, including jumping on stage at Katy Perry's Sydney performance in recently and in a like fashion during The Chainsmokers performance in the same location last December.

"Measures must be taken enforced against him as this is obviously a legal violation," commented an Instagram user, in a response to a video Mr Wen posted of his actions.

"You've done this repeatedly... how are you not behind bars?" a different Instagram user remarked.

Followers Show Disapproval Over Ariana's Safety

Numerous followers criticized Mr Wen for "causing further distress" Grande, who had discussed dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder after a terrorist explosion at the conclusion of her spring 2017 show in Manchester, resulting in the death of 22 people and harming numerous individuals.

"After everything she's faced... including the Manchester attack, you considered it entertaining to rush the barrier?" wrote a further comment on Instagram.

Several fans also faulted security officers at the premiere for not being vigilant enough; while some demanded social media platforms to ban Mr Wen's uploads.

Aftermath and Premiere Information

In videos shared widely, Grande looked startled when she was grabbed by the individual. Her co-stars Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be spotted comforting her while Mr Wen was removed by staff.

Grande has remained silent on the incident, and the remaining proceedings carried on uninterrupted.

Many of supporters had assembled in a crowd of green and pink at the Wicked: For Good regional premiere in a Singapore shopping center, including some who had queued for as long as a significant duration before it began.

The film, to be premiered on the 21st of November, is the follow-up of a dual version of the well-known Broadway and West End musical Wicked, which focuses on the unlikely relationship between two very different characters.

The show itself is a adaptation of the twentieth-century children's novel The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who plays the good witch Glinda, was adorned in a champagne pink glittering gown at the premiere while Erivo, who portrays the wicked witch, wore a sleek black dress embroidered with roses.

They were joined by fellow actor Jeff Goldblum.

The initial film, Wicked, was the highest-grossing movie of 2024 in the UK, and earned a dozen Academy Award nods, winning several for outstanding attire and set decoration.
