Designed as a party-sized premix that is packed with the tastes of the festive period, rendering it perfect for your celebration. Any leftover citrus syrup you can use for brunch beverages, puddings, or to mix additional servings of the drink.
Bikini Recipe
Makes enough for 10 servings
Ingredients for the Clementine Syrup (makes 750ml)
300ml newly squeezed clementine juice
200ml fresh lemon juice
500g granulated sugar
To make the Cocktail (makes 850ml, serving 10)
400ml premium vodka
100ml London dry gin
150ml peach schnapps
200ml citrus syrup (as made above)
Whole cranberries, to garnish
Mandarin essential oil, as a final touch
Directions
Making the Cordial: Place all the items in a pot, bring to a gentle boil, agitating until the sugar dissolves. After that, turn off the burner allowing it to cool entirely. Transfer into an sealable bottle, seal and refrigerate it chilled, where it will keep for about one month.
Preparing the Cocktail Base: Combine every liquid ingredients into one sizeable container, let it rest for one hour, then pass it through , ideally through muslin, so it's completely strained.
When ready to serve: Pour 85ml from the premix into a mixing glass filled with ice, gently stirring carefully for about 60 seconds to cool it down. Filter into a frosted cocktail glass or a similar vessel, top with some cranberries and complete it by giving it a brief mist with the mandarin essence over the drink.
